You can manage existing desk phones in your DialLink account by reassigning them to another user or numbers or removing them entirely. This is useful when an employee leaves, changes roles, or when the device is no longer in use.
Reassigning a desk phone
To assign a desk phone to a different team member or a phone number:
Go to Settings > Desk phones.
Select the phone you want to reassign.
Update Assignment and Phone number fields.
The new user and numbers will be linked to the device, and calls will be routed accordingly.
Removing a desk phone
To remove a device from your account:
Go to Settings > Desk phones.
Select the phone you want to remove.
Click Unlink.
Imortant. Unlinking a desk phone is permanent. This action cannot be undone.
