Depending on your business location, your DialLink invoice may include taxes, fees, or other charges required by federal, state, or local governments. DialLink collects and passes them directly to the appropriate authorities. The exact amount will vary depending on your billing address and applicable regulations.

Note. See a full breakdown of taxes or fees on your monthly invoice.

Examples of taxes and fees

Here are some examples that may appear on your invoice:

  • 911 service fees to support local emergency services.

  • Universal Service Fund (USF) fees to support affordable telecommunications nationwide.

  • A city-imposed tax on utility services, including phone and internet.

  • Regulatory compliance fees to cover government-mandated telecom compliance costs.

The actual charges may vary based on your specific location and usage.

FAQs

Why am I being charged taxes now if I wasn’t before?

As DialLink continues to expand and stay compliant with evolving tax laws, we regularly review billing addresses and local regulations. If your region recently introduced new telecom taxes or if your billing details were updated, this may trigger a change. We’re committed to transparency and always apply taxes only when legally required.

Why are the taxes on my bill different each month?

The taxes and fees on your invoice may change from month to month. This can happen due to updates in regional tax laws, changes to your account details, or adjustments in how your services are used.

What determines the taxes and fees on my invoice?

DialLink calculates taxes and fees based on your company's billing address and applicable laws in your area. To check the billing address, navigate to Settings > Billing.

Where can I find a breakdown of my charges?

Your monthly invoice includes a full breakdown of your charges, including applicable taxes and fees. Open Settings > Billing in your DialLink account and scroll to Invoices to view or download them.

How can I update my billing address?

To update your billing address:

  1. Open your DialLink account.

  2. Go to Settings > Billing.

  3. Update your billing address in the Billing contact section.

  4. Click Submit.

We'll automatically recalculate future taxes based on your updated location.

What’s causing the increase in my total charges?

If your total charge has increased, it may be due to updates to your service plan and added features or changes in local tax or fee structures. We recommend checking your invoice for a detailed breakdown.
