Introduction to DialLink Salesforce integration

Sync contacts, calls and text messages between DialLink and Salesforce.

Updated yesterday

Overview

The Salesforce native integration enables automatic synchronization between the two systems. It keeps contact details up to date in both systems, and logs calls and text messages directly from DialLink to Salesforce.

This integration is especially useful for sales and support teams that rely on Salesforce as their CRM system. By connecting Salesforce to DialLink, you reduce manual data entry and ensure all customer communications are captured and accessible in one place.

What you can do with the Salesforce native integration

Contact synchronization

The integration ensures continuous, two-way synchronization of contacts between DialLink and Salesforce:

  • All Salesforce contacts are synced to DialLink as contact records

  • Any updates made in DialLink are reflected in Salesforce, and vice versa

The following fields are synchronized:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Phone number

  • Mobile phone number

  • Email address

  • Job title (if available)

Call logging

All calls made and received through DialLink are automatically logged in Salesforce. Each call is recorded as a task associated with the relevant contact.

Each record includes the following details:

  • Call direction (inbound or outbound)

  • Call status (missed or completed)

  • Date and time of the call

  • Duration

  • From / to phone numbers

  • Handled by a user or phone number

  • AI call transcription (if available)

  • AI call summary (if available)

Note: Call data is synchronized in one direction only, from DialLink to Salesforce.

Logging calls handled by AI voice agent (AiVA)

All calls answered by DialLink’s AI voice agent, AiVA, are automatically logged in Salesforce. Each call is recorded as a task associated with the relevant lead or contact.

Each record includes the following details:

  • Call direction (inbound or outbound)

  • Call status (missed or completed)

  • Date and time of the call

  • Duration

  • From / to phone numbers

  • Handled by a user or phone number

  • AI call transcription (if available)

  • AI call summary (if available)

Note: Call data is synchronized in one direction only, from DialLink to Salesforce.

Messaging logging

DialLink automatically logs all message-based interaction in Salesforce, grouping them by conversation. This allows your team to view the full message thread in one place.

To keep records organized, messages are logged after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Each record includes the following details:

  • Direction (inbound or outbound)

  • Status

  • Date and time of the call

  • Duration

  • From / to phone numbers

  • Handled by a user or phone number

  • Message counts

  • Message history

Click-to-call functionality

With the Salesforce native integration, you can start a call directly from Salesforce by clicking a phone number. The call is automatically initiated in DialLink.
