Using DialLink MCP Server in Claude Desktop

Once the DialLink MCP Server is connected, Claude Desktop can perform real actions in your DialLink account.

What you can do with the MCP Server

With the server active, Claude can:

  • Make outbound calls
    You can ask Claude to place a call to any number using your configured DialLink agents.

  • Cancel or reschedule appointments
    Claude can initiate a call on your behalf and instruct the agent on what to say

  • Check call status
    You can ask Claude whether a call has been completed, how long it lasted, and what the outcome was.

  • Retrieve contacts
    Search for a customer in DialLink and view their details in real time.

  • Update contact data
    Add or modify contact details through Claude’s commands.

How to interact with Claude

  1. Open a chat in Claude Desktop.

  2. Phrase your request naturally, such as:

    • Call John Smith at +1 111 222 0147 with the Outbound agent”.

    • Find the contact record for Ann Smith”.

  3. Claude will interpret your request and use the DialLink MCP Server to perform the action.

Things to know

  • Claude will display the actions it performs through the DialLink MCP Server, so you can see and track each request.

  • All requests are handled securely via DialLink APIs.

  • The range of available actions will grow as new DialLink features are added to the MCP Server.
