Ring group helps to manage incoming calls by allowing multiple users to share responsibility for specific phone numbers. It centralizes call-related activities and makes collaboration easier.

  1. Open > Ring groups.

  2. Click +Add new ring group.

  3. Specify the name and click Save.

How to configure a ring group

After creating the ring group, a settings window appears. You can also access the ring group setting by opening it from the list of all groups.

Before you start using the ring group, make sure to complete all settings.

Phone numbers

Specify phone numbers that should be routed to this ring group. All incoming calls to these numbers will reach the group.

To add a number, select it from the drop-down list and click Add phone number. You can add multiple phone numbers at once.

Users

Specify DialLink users who will handle incoming calls for this ring group. These persons will be able to answer calls linked to the group, access the call history to keep track of activity, and listen to voicemails left for the group.

Before adding a user, make sure you invite them to the DialLink platform. To add a user to a ring group, select the one from the drop-down list and click Add user.

Dealing with Ring groups

This feature is ideal for teams to handle collective calls and manage shared communication tasks. The following units can benefit from using this feature:

  • Support team
Ring group helps manage customer inquiries effectively by allowing multiple agents to respond to calls. For example, a customer service team may use a ring group to manage their hotline. When a customer calls, the phone rings for all team members until someone answers.

  • Sales team
Using the ring group, they can manage a high volume of incoming leads and keep the entire team informed through shared call data.
