International phone numbers are available only on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
DialLink supports both US and international phone numbers. Each DialLink tenant must have at least one active US phone number.
A US number is required at the account level and serves as the foundation for core platform functionality. Once a US number has been added and you are on the Professional or Enterprise plan, you can also add and use international phone numbers alongside it.
Each user license includes one free US-based phone number, so you don’t need to purchase a US number separately to activate the tenant
Why is a US phone number required?
DialLink currently relies on a US number for:
Tenant activation and baseline telephony setup.
US carrier and compliance flows.
Certain calling and messaging features that are US-centric by design, like caller IDs (CNAMs) or A2P 10DLC.
Because of this, a tenant without at least one US number is not supported.
How can you use international phone numbers in DialLink?
International phone numbers are available on the Professional and Enterprise plans and can be added once at least one US number has been added to the tenant. International numbers can be used for:
Receiving inbound calls in specific countries.
Making outbound calls to local destinations.
Assigning numbers to users, teams, or call flows (depending on configuration).
International numbers extend your tenant coverage, but they do not replace a US number.
Supported phone number combinations in DialLink
A DialLink tenanttenantcan include:
One US number and multiple international numbers
Multiple US numbers and multiple international numbers
Each tenant requires at least one US phone number and can’t be set up with international numbers only, but every user license includes a free US-based phone number, so there’s no need to purchase one separately.
