DialLink’s AI voice agents can be added at different points within your call flows, allowing you to automate interactions, route calls efficiently, and handle requests without missing opportunities.
Set up AiVA as a receptionist
To make AiVA the first point of contact for incoming calls, assign an AI agent to your phone number.
To assign a phone number:
Open the Phone numbers section within the AI agent
Select a phone number from the dropdown menu
Click Add phone number

Set up AiVA for after-hours support and message taking
Instead of routing calls to voicemail outside business hours, you can direct them to an AI voice agent for basic support and message capture.
First, make sure you have an auto-receptionist configured to route calls based on business hours. See How to set up an auto-receptionist.
Then:
Open the Auto-receptionist settings
Navigate to the During closed hours section
Select AI agent as the destination
Choose the AI agent you want to use
Handle missed calls in ring groups with AiVA
AiVA can handle missed calls for ring groups, ensuring no caller is left without a response.
To configure this:
Open the Ring group settings
Navigate to the Voicemail section
Select AI agent under Missed call handling
Choose the AI agent
Handle missed calls in call queues with AiVA
You can also use AiVA to manage missed calls in call queues.
To configure this:
Open the Call queue settings
Navigate to the Missed call handling section
Select AI agent as the handling option
Choose the AI agent
Add AiVA as an option in your IVR phone menu
AiVA can be added as a routing option within your IVR (phone menu).
First, ensure you have an auto-receptionist configured to route calls to an IVR menu.
Then:
Open the Auto-receptionist settings
Navigate to the During open hours or During closed hours section (depending on your setup)
Select AI agent as the destination for a menu option
Choose the AI agent
