How AI transcription works

  1. AI processes the call recording and enhances sound quality by filtering out noise and focusing on speech.

  2. AI models analyze sounds to match them with words and display them as text.

  3. The text is corrected, including punctuation and identifying different speakers.

  4. The final transcript is generated, formatted, and ready for use.

How to get AI transcription

After the call recording, the AI automatically adds transcriptions to the call description. Open the Calls tab at the top and select the call from the history to view the generated content.

AI transcription provides a detailed breakdown of a call conversation, including timestamps and a structured text version of the discussion:

Based on the recording, AI generates the following content insights:

  • AI summary
    This section aggregates the entire conversation into a few key sentences, focusing on the main discussion points. It provides a quick overview without reading the full transcript or listening to the recording.

  • Action items
    This section extracts the key tasks or follow-ups that resulted from the discussion. It lists what needs to be done after the call.

  • AI sentiment
    This section analyzes the overall tone and emotional context of the conversation. It helps evaluate customer interactions, sales calls, or internal meetings to understand the emotional tone of communication.
