Sometimes businesses need a single phone number that multiple employees can answer. Instead of using call forwarding or complex routing, DialLink provides such an opportunity with ring groups.
How it works
A phone number is linked to a ring group. The ring group includes multiple employees, who can pick up calls associated with the group.
When someone calls, the system automatically rings all agents added to the group. If one employee is busy, someone else can pick up. In this case, customers don’t have to redial or wait on hold, and calls are routed evenly across the team.
When to share the number?
A shared phone number is helpful in many scenarios:
Customer support effectively monitors that every inquiry is answered.
Sales teams increase the chances of reaching potential customers.
Desk receptionists manage incoming calls from clients.
