Number porting is the process of moving your existing phone number(s) from your current service provider to DialLink. It allows you to continue using your familiar number(s) while taking advantage of all the features and services DialLink offers.

How it works

When you request a number port, DialLink works directly with your current provider to transfer your number(s). This process usually takes between 2 to 4 weeks. Once complete, your number(s) will be fully active on DialLink, and you will receive email updates throughout the process.

Key points about the porting process:

  • You should keep your number active with your current provider until the port is complete.

  • After the port completes, you may temporarily be unable to receive messages for up to 3 business days.
