Note: MCP servers, or AI voice agent integrations, are available for users on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
An MCP server is a connector between your AI voice agent and external business tools. It translates requests from the AI into commands that the connected system can understand (such as API calls) and then converts the response back into a format the AI can use.
In simple terms, MCP servers allow AI voice agents and business applications to communicate with each other.
You can think of MCP servers as additional “skills” you give your AI agent. For example, retrieving customer data from a CRM or checking availability in a calendar.
To learn more about how MCP servers work, see How MCP works in DialLink.
What makes DialLink’s MCP servers unique?
DialLink’s MCP servers are designed for ease of use. You can choose from a library of prebuilt integrations and connect them through a simple setup process, no technical expertise required.
Each MCP server connects to a specific business tool. You can select which tools to connect and assign them to your AI voice agent based on your needs.
One AI agent can be connected to multiple MCP servers at the same time, allowing it to interact with several business systems during a single call.
What can AI voice agents do with MCP servers?
With MCP servers, AI voice agents can go beyond answering questions and actively interact with your business systems:
Retrieve data in real time: Access information from connected tools (such as CRM or scheduling systems) while on a call
Perform actions across systems: Complete tasks like booking appointments or updating records
Deliver personalized responses: Use context from multiple sources (such as customer history or preferences) to tailor conversations
Coordinate across tools: Manage workflows that involve multiple systems within a single interaction
Supported business tools via MCP servers
AiVA currently supports the following integrations via MCP servers:
