Messaging isn’t available in trial accounts. This ensures reliable message delivery, compliance with carrier requirements, and protection against unverified traffic.

If you need to test messaging, you can upgrade early to unlock channels and complete the required verification steps.

Why these limits exist

Some limits are in place because carriers require a verified business identity (Trust profile and A2P 10DLC) before sending messages to US and Canadian numbers. Other channels, like RCS and WhatsApp, are designed to work only with verified businesses. Restrictions in trial accounts also help prevent spam and misuse from unverified users.

Note. If messaging to the US/Canada is critical for your business, consider upgrading early so you can complete the required verification steps.
