Checking the status of a number porting request

After submitting a request to port your phone number, you can track its progress directly in the DialLink platform.

How to check the status of your porting request

To check the status of your porting request, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Settings icon.

Desktop:

Open the Settings button in the web portal

Mobile:

Open the Settings in the mobile app

2. Navigate to Phone system settings β†’ Porting Requests.

3. Locate your request in the Porting requests table.

4. Review the Status column to see the current progress.

Porting request statuses

Below is a list of possible request statuses and their meanings:

Status

Description

In Review

The details you provided in your porting request are currently under verification.

Waiting for Signature

The LOA for the porting request is awaiting a signature from an authorized representative on your side. If a valid signature is not provided within 30 days, the porting request will be cancelled.

In Progress

Your current carrier is reviewing the porting request. If it is approved, the number(s) will be ported on the date specified in the table.

Action Required

One or more numbers in the porting request have been rejected by the current carrier. Click here to view the reason.

Then cancel the current request and submit a new one with the correct information.

Completed

All approved phone numbers have been ported, and all rejected numbers have been cancelled.

Cancelling

Your request to cancel number porting has been sent to your current carrier. Please contact them to confirm the cancellation request.

Cancelled

The porting request has been cancelled.

If your request consists of several phone numbers and you want to see the status for each number, you can open the request by double-clicking on the row. Scroll down to the Phone numbers table and see the status of each phone number.

Checking the status of individual numbers

If your request includes multiple phone numbers, you can view the status of each number individually:

  1. Double-click the request row in the Porting requests table.

2. Scroll down to the Phone numbers table.

3. Review the status listed for each number.
