Payment errors during sign-up

Learn about the most common payment errors you may encounter during DialLink sign-up and the exact steps to resolve them and activate your account.

When you sign up for DialLink, your payment sometimes cannot be processed right away. This can happen for a few different reasons, and most of them are easy to fix. Here is what to check.

Card or account-related problems

Start by checking your card and account details, since this is the most common cause of payment issues.

  • Insufficient funds: Make sure your account or card has enough available balance to cover the charge.

  • Incorrect payment information: A typo in the card number, CVV code, expiry date, or billing address can cause the payment to fail. Double-check each field before resubmitting.

  • Expired cards: Your card may have expired without you noticing. Confirm the expiry date or update your card details.

  • Insufficient credit limit: For credit card payments, your available credit limit may not cover the cost of the purchase.

  • Account limitations: Some banks and payment processors set daily or weekly spending limits to prevent fraud. These limits can cause a payment to be declined even if you have sufficient funds.

  • Fraud prevention: Banks and payment processors use fraud detection systems that may flag and decline legitimate transactions, especially large or unusual purchases. If this happens, contact your bank to confirm the transaction.

Connectivity issues

If your card and account details are correct, the issue may be technical rather than payment-related.

  • Technical issues: An unstable internet connection or a problem with your device can interrupt the payment process before it completes. Try switching networks or devices and attempt the payment again.
