What is call parking?

Call parking is a feature that lets you send an incoming call to a hold slot, where it stays until someone picks it up.

Note: Call parking is currently only available on desk phones.

How to send a call to a hold slot

While you're on a live call and receive another incoming call, press Transfer, enter *71 on your desk phone's keypad, and press Transfer again. The call will be parked to the next available slot, numbered 701–720.

All users on your account, both admins and standard users, will be notified on their desk phones via a blinking light indicator and a parking button.

Note: Once a call is parked, it disconnects from the phone that parked it. The caller remains on hold in the parking slot until someone retrieves them.

How to retrieve a call from a hold slot

When a user is notified of a parked call, the slot number appears on their desk phone screen. To retrieve the call, dial the slot number where it's parked, for example, 701. Then press the Send or OK soft key, or the call will connect automatically once the number is dialed.
