Why can't I receive a verification code on the DialLink number?
Updated over 2 months ago

When verifying a third-party account using your DialLink number, you may not receive a verification code (OTP). Some online platforms and apps restrict virtual phone numbers for security reasons.

Virtual numbers are less secure because they can be easily created and discarded, change ownership, or expire, making it difficult for services to maintain reliable contact with users.

In most cases, you won't be able to receive verification codes from banks and financial institutions, government services, or communication apps.

We recommend verifying whether the service provider supports virtual phone numbers for authentication.

How to solve the issue?

  1. Use a regular mobile number for verification.

  2. Try an alternative verification method. Some platforms offer email verification or app-based authentication instead of SMS.
