DialLink makes calling simple and intuitive. Whether you're answering, making, or managing calls, everything happens within the app.
Receiving a call
When a call comes in, a popup window appears where you can choose to answer, decline, or ignore it. Declining a call may send it to voicemail if enabled while ignoring it simply dismisses the notification without rejecting the call.
Note. You can receive calls only when the DialLink app is open. However, it doesn’t need to stay on your screen. You can keep it minimized in the background and still receive calls.
Making a call
To place a call, use the dialer or select a contact. You can manually enter a number or tap to call someone from your saved contacts.
Transferring a call
If you need to route a call to someone else, DialLink offers two ways to transfer a call. With a warm transfer, you first speak with the recipient to provide context. With a cold transfer, the call is immediately redirected, and you disconnect. See Call transferring to learn more.
Record a call
Track conversations for the entire team and manage interaction with customers. Recorded calls are stored securely and can be reviewed later. See Call recording to learn more.
Add participant to call
You can turn a one-on-one call into a conference call by adding more participants. This feature is useful for team discussions, quick decision-making, or troubleshooting issues with multiple parties.
Access call history
The call history section provides a complete list of your recent calls, including:
Incoming, outgoing, and missed calls
Call duration and timestamps
Filtering options by type and time range
This allows you to quickly track your past interactions and redial important numbers.
Access call timeline
The call timeline gives a detailed view of all call records associated with a specific contact. This helps review past conversations, follow up on discussions, and maintain a record of interactions.
