How to set up a desk phone purchased from DialLink

Congratulations on receiving your new desk phone from DialLink! Your phone arrives pre-provisioned with the DialLink Business Phone System, so setup is quick and easy.

Below are the steps you’ll need to complete to start using your desk phone for calls:

Option 1: Connect using a Wi-Fi network

  1. Plug the power supply cable into the port labeled DC on the back of the phone, then plug the other end to a wall outlet.

  2. Wait a few seconds for the phone to power on.

  3. Once the screen turns on, follow the on-screen prompt to connect to Wi-Fi.

  4. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.

  5. After a few moments, the phone will automatically connect to your DialLink account.

Option 2: Connect using an Ethernet cable

  1. Plug the power supply cable into the port labeled DC on the back of the phone, then plug the other end to a wall outlet.

  2. Wait a few seconds for the phone to power on.

  3. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the port labeled Internet on the back of the phone, and the other end into a router or Ethernet wall jack.

  4. The phone will automatically connect to your DialLink account.

If your desk phone still doesn’t work after connecting it to power and the internet

If your phone still isn’t working after following these steps, confirm that the desk phone is connected to your DialLink account:

  • Log in to your DialLink account.

  • Go to Settings > Desk Phones.

  • Check the status of your phone. It should be set to Registered.

If you don’t see your phone listed, or if its status shows something different, follow these steps:

  1. Add the device

    Add the desk phone to your DialLink account. You will need the device’s MAC address.
