Checking the status of a number porting request (Basic Business Line users)

After submitting a request to port your phone number, you can track its progress directly in the DialLink Settings Console.

How to check the status of your porting request

To check the status of your porting request, follow these steps:

  1. Go to to General settings

  2. Open the Porting requests

3. Locate your request in the Porting requests table.

4. Review the Status column to see the current progress.

Below is a list of possible request statuses and their meanings:

Status

Description

In Review

The details you provided in your porting request are currently under verification.

Waiting for Signature

The LOA for the porting request is awaiting a signature from an authorized representative on your side. If a valid signature is not provided within 30 days, the porting request will be cancelled.

In Progress

Your current carrier is reviewing the porting request. If it is approved, the number will be ported on the date specified in the table.

Action Required

Your porting request have been rejected by the current carrier. Click here to view the reason.

Then cancel the current request and submit a new one with the correct information.

Completed

Your porting request is either approved or rejected.

Cancelling

Your request to cancel number porting has been sent to your current carrier. Please contact them to confirm the cancellation request.

Cancelled

The porting request has been cancelled.
