Once your request is submitted, it will be reviewed. During this process, your application can have one of several statuses. This article explains what each status means and what to do next.
Where to check your request status
You can track the status of your toll-free messaging verification directly in DialLink:
Go to Settings.
2. In Phone system settings, open the Trust tab.
3. Click or scroll down to Toll-Free Numbers Registration.
4. Find your request in the table and check its status.
The status updates automatically as your application is reviewed.
Registration statuses
Pending review / In review
Pending means your registration has been submitted and is currently under review by carriers and messaging providers. This typically takes 3 to 5 business days, though review times can vary depending on submission volume and the completeness of the information you provided.
While your application is pending, messaging to the US and Canada is blocked. You'll be able to send messages once your toll-free number is approved.
Verified / Approved
Your toll-free number is fully verified and cleared to send SMS and MMS messages to US and Canadian recipients.
Rejected
Your request wasn't approved. The rejection will include a specific reason, such as mismatched business information, an incomplete opt-in process, or unclear use case details.
If eligible, you can correct the flagged information and resubmit your registration directly from your DialLink tenant. Note that in some cases, such as inappropriate content or policy violations, your request may be ineligible and can't be resubmitted.
Messaging remains blocked until your number is approved.
