Top up your account balance (Basic Business Line users)

International calls outside the US and Canada are not included in the base subscription and are billed separately as metered usage.

Note: To make international calls from your phone line, you need to enable international calling. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Getting Around Your Basic Business Line Account.

What does “metered usage” mean?

Metered usage means that international calls are charged based on actual usage, according to the applicable rates for each country.

Charges depend on the destination country of the call. Please find the current rate here.

How to top up your credit balance

You can add funds to your credit balance in two ways: manual top-ups or automatic recharges.

Option 1: Manually Add Funds

To manually add funds to your credit balance:

  1. Open the Billing tab

2. Click Add funds next to your current balance

Click on the add funds button

3. Enter the amount you want to add

4. Select a payment method

5. Click Pay to complete the transaction

Click the pay button to top up your credit balance

Option 2: Set Up Automatic Recharge

Automatic recharge ensures your credit balance is replenished when it falls below a defined threshold.

To enable automatic recharge:

  1. Configure the following:

  • The recharge amount to be added automatically (1)

  • The balance threshold that triggers the recharge (2)

Once enabled, your credit balance will be automatically replenished when it drops below the specified threshold.

How to track your balance usage

All usage-related charges are recorded in the Balance usage table within the Billing tab.

To review usage details:

  1. Open the Billing tab

2. Scroll down to the Balance usage table

3. Locate entries related to international usage (e.g., Outbound International Call)

4. Review the total spend or click View details to see itemized information, including date, time, price, and user.
