How to manually record a call

Manual call recording overview

DialLink allows you to record inbound and outbound calls by manually starting the recording while you are on a call.

Note: Manual call recording is available to users on the Essential, Professional, and Enterprise plans.

How to start manual call recording

To start recording a call manually:

  1. Start or answer a call. To learn more, see the How to make a call and How to receive a call articles.

  2. Open the Call panel.

  3. Click Start recording. The recording will start immediately.

To confirm that the recording is active, check the Recording button. It will appear red/active while recording is in progress.
